Metallic Nails & New Shoes | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hello everybody!

I hope you're well and enjoyed the weekend!

Social media has been going crazy with the referendum last week, if you don't know and been living under a rock...basically the UK has voted to leave the EU.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and has the right to vote and the outcome is what it is, so let's continue to be awesome!

I've been loving metallic nails this summer, it seems to be trending and lots of celebs are rocking their metallic nail polish.
My favourite at the moment are these Ted Baker metallic nail polishes.

Prices vary on different websites.

I always get compliments when I wear these colours, they're very eye catching- especially when they glisten in the sunshine!

You don't need to use too much, I usually apply two coats.

The coverage is very good, easy to apply with a good sized brush and big handle.

The nail varnish is durable and can last quite a few days without chipping, depending on how careful you are.

I also bought a new pair of shoes!

I was in Select and spotted these and straight away I was mentally pairing them with lots of outfits!

This is how you realise you need these shoes in your life.

How cute are these shoes!?

I had to get them!

I love wearing these with my denim dress, white sundress, dungarees, shorts, skirts...

The possibilities are endless!

Plus they scream "Summer!" Regardless whether the sun wants to come out or not.

They were on sale for £5.99 reduced from £11.99

Right?!

I love me a good bargain.

And to end the weekend on a relaxing purchase...

Aah, a lovely lush bath bomb!

This one smells like subtle oranges with a hint of blackcurrant.

It was lovely!

Thanks for reading guys,

Blonde Hair & Skin Cleansing | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hey guys!

Another weekend draws to an end, I hope you've had a good one!

I've been busy hitting the shops this weekend and I'm loving so much that's in at the moment, shopping haul definitely coming soon!

Also this weekend...I've gone blonde!
This was a massive change for me as I've been dark for almost a year, and although I loved being dark I just wanted a change and to brighten up for summer.

My amazing and wonderful hairdresser recommended a balayage or ombre, she showed me some photos of clients she has done and I loved it!

So I went for it and I love it!

I'm super excited to try out lots of different hairstyles with my new colours, I really like how you can see the blonde mixed with the dark, especially in plaits and waves.

The other thing I wanted to share with you guys was an amazing facial cleanser I've been using...

This is the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Water for £3.99 in most shops, although this could differ in other shops or websites.

I've been using this product for about a month and, needless to say- I love it!

It's super easy to use, just shake it up then apply a small amount onto a cotton pad.
Then wipe away the dirt or makeup of the day easily and effectively.

I use the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, anyone who uses this knows it is effort to get off your face!

This is all well and good knowing your foundation is staying in place all day, but it can become a nuisance when trying to remove it at the end of the day.

Not anymore! The Garnier Cleanser erases my foundation, removes it super easily and has saved me so much time in the evenings.

Thanks for reading guys and have another fab week!

Monthly Favourites June 2016 | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hello, hello, hello!

I hope you're well and having a fab weekend!

I've had a wonderful weekend with road trips, a fete celebrating the Queen's birthday and paddling pool fun with George (my pug).

I've also been to the cinema to watch the new X Men Apocalypse movie, which was awesome (such a Marvel nerd).

I've had a couple of requests from some of my friends to start doing monthly "favourites" hauls.

So there's no time like the present! Let's begin with my favourite products of June 2016.

I'm starting with concealer.

I've been seeing a lot of excitement about Collection's lasting perfection concealer on YouTube, Blogs and on other social medias and I thought I'd give it a try.

Oh my goodness- this concealer is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product for the price which was under £5.00!

I chose the shade 01 Fair, make sure you get a shade lighter than your foundation to brighten areas such as under eyes and around the nose if you get some redness like me.

It's thick, but not too thick, creamy and easy to blend I just blend with my finger.
It eliminates my imperfections and lasts a very long time.

I would recommend popping a translucent powder on top of the concealer to make sure it lasts all day, or pop it in your handbag to top up if you don't have a setting powder.

Next in my favourites this month are these...

Adidas Superstar Original trainers!

I've been living in these trainers since I bought them. I chose the black and white ones so I can team them with black skinny jeans, which look great together! I like to wear my New Look ripped skinny jeans for a casual look.

These trainers are so comfy, it's like walking on memory foam mattresses! I love wearing them and they are quite resilient for trainers too.

I bought mine from Schuh for £70.

Moving on now to more makeup...

Kate Moss lipsticks!

OK, so these lipsticks do tend to be under £5.00 each but range from different prices in different stores and websites.

The quality of these lipsticks is really good, they are creamy, easy to apply and smell great!

The colours are highly pigmented and glide on nicely to the lips.

You do need to make sure you reapply the lipstick after eating or drinking as they do tend to transfer easily.

I have used my number 08 shade to the death as I wear it every day. It is by far my favourite lipstick brand this month and I recommend it to everyone!

I will be purchasing many more colours for the summer! They have such a wide range to choose from.

A clothing item now...

H&M leggings!

I wear a lot of leggings, they're versatile and comfy- whats not to love?!

I have looked far and wide to find the perfect leggings that are not see through and cover my butt- quite literally!

There's nothing worse than wearing a pair of leggings, you bend over and your friends inform you "We can see your butt!" Cringe!

Note to self- no more Select leggings 2 for £8- there's a reason they're so cheap!

I've tried leggings from next, Topshop and New Look but they all seem to be so sheer.

Then I found these leggings in H&M and I had to get them, they were £8.99 and I bought two pairs.

They have a lining inside them that makes them thicker, so they cover your butt!

Now onto nail care...

This is Mavala Scientifique, a nail hardener. I bought mine online for under £10.

It is expensive for what it is, I saw a few reviews about this product which were all pretty convincing, so I thought I would give it a try.

I have bendy nails that break once they get to a certain length. It's really annoying because I love having long nails, but I'm very hands on and they break so easily, once one breaks the rest tend to follow suit.

I have now been using Mavala Scientifique for two weeks and I can say I have noticed a slight difference in the quality of my nails.

They have become harder and haven't been breaking like they usually do, they aren't bending anymore or flaking. So it is working and I am really pleased with the product.

You apply this product just on the tips of your nails twice per week, be patient- it works!

Next in my June favourites this month...

LaRoc eyeshadow palette!

I have mentioned this palette in a previous blogpost, I just can't get over this palette. It is massive, so cheap and the colours are great! They are so highly pigmented, easy to apply and blend.

I have been using this palette every day for a natural smokey eye during the day and if I'm going out in the evening I use the darker shades in the palette.

There are beautiful neutral colours, shimmers and darker shades like greys and blacks.

I have even used this palette for blusher and highlighting too.

I purchased this product online for only £3.99 on a whim and haven't looked back since.

Now for fragrance...

Opium Black. My friend has been wearing this perfume and I asked her a while ago what it was called as it smelled so lovely.

When I first purchased Black Opium I was saving it for special occasions, but now I'm wearing it every day as It's just too darn nice.

The price varies from store to store, I bought mine from a duty free airport shop for £36.

Lastly, I have been loving the balayage hair I have been seeing and decided to book myself in to have it done!

I'm excited to be going a little lighter for the Summer!

Pics will follow soon!

So there are my monthly favourites for June 2016, I hope you like these products and maybe you can try them out yourselves.

Have a fab weekend guys and remember....
