Good evening everybody!
I hope you are doing well and enjoying your weekend.
I know it's been quite a while since my last blog post, my apologies about that- I have been spending some quality time with my hubby, which has been wonderful.
So I'm back now and I'm bringing you a monthly favourites, starting with...
Aveeno Almond Oil Cream is my absolute holy grail for every day moisturising. My skin feels absolutely amazing and I've been recommending all of my friends to use this stuff who might be having dry or irritated skin issues. You can also get the Aveeno Skin Relief cream which is also just as effective. Currently £6.43 at Boots.
My next monthly favourite...
Dove Go Fresh deodorant, Currently £1.75 at Boots. This is my favourite deodorant at the moment, it has such a fresh and clean scent and keeps any unwanted odours at bay. I don't have to put any more on, it lasts all day. So yeah- deodorant!
Next...
Of course it has to be in my monthly favourites! My Garnier Micellar Water. I use this wonderful product every day and evening with a cotton pad, it wipes away all of my makeup and dirt from the day. If you use stay in place makeup like the Estee Lauder Double Wear or waterproof mascara and find it difficult to remove, then this product is for you. Currently £3.99 at Boots.
My next on my favourites list...
I have been using this ogx coconut milk shampoo and conditioner for the past few months now and I have truly noticed a difference in my hair. It feels conditioned, soft and easier to manage and it also smells like coconuts too! They are currently £6.99 each in Boots. If your hair is dry or damaged, maybe if you bleach your hair- I highly recommend these products to you, they are worth it.
Sticking with the coconut theme here...
Oh my goodness, I can't get enough of this shower gel! It smells amazing, it reminds me of holidays, it leaves my skin feeling moisturised and soft. What more could you ask for in a shower gel? Oh and they are natural products too. If the coconut scent isn't for you, there are so many others to choose from. Currently £2.30 at Boots.

If you have read my previous blog posts, you will know that I love Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks. They are easy to apply, highly pigmented, creamy and smell delicious too. My favourite shade this month has been number 05. It's a perfect shade for summer, like a pinky red tone as shone on the above photo. This product is currently £5.49 at Boots. If this shade isn't your taste, there are plenty more shades to choose from. I highly recommend these lipsticks if you're looking for a new one, they are just so fab and worth the money. I have worn this lipstick every day this month, I love it!
My next favourites...
I've had a bit of a love, hate relationship with this mascara. I first purchased this mascara a few weeks ago as I needed a new mascara and wanted to try this one, as I love the wake me up foundation. I have struggled with the brush...it's almost like an hour glass shaped brush which I found too big for my eyes, as I have hooded eyes. I kept getting product on my eyelids where the brush was so big. However, over time I have persevered with this mascara and have grown to love it. The brush size is no longer an issue, I just hold the mirror underneath my eyes so I'm looking down when applying it. It gives my lashes a great length and lift. It can be removed easily by my Micellar water (above) in the evening and is currently £7.99 in Boots.
And last but by no means least is...
My ever so trusty Tangle Teezer. If you don't own one of these, you need to get one. I got mine from GroupOn for £8.99 you can get them at Boots for £10.99, you could probably get them cheaper from eBay so make sure you shop around to get the best deal. I usually use my tangle teezer when I'm in the shower and put my conditioner in, I brush it through with it and then again when it's wet. It's just so much gentler and kinder to your hair, no snapping or breaking the strands and your hair feels great, sleek and shiny!
So there we have it, my August monthly favourites. If you're in need of any of the above products then I can't recommend you to try them enough. I hope you enjoyed this blog post, have a great week guys!
