Happy Easter & Homeware Haul | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hello everybody!

I'm back today bringing you an Asda Living Homeware Haul blog!

Happy Easter Sunday to you all, I hope you're enjoying a peaceful and relaxing day and eating lots of chocolate eggs and other goodies!

I've recently been browsing different websites trying to find some Spring themed items for my home and I came across Asda Living which have the most gorgeous bits at a great value for money.

Here are some of the bits I've chosen...

How cute are these!? They're so Spring orientated- I just adore them!

Asda are excellent at seasonal bits, especially when it comes to the little things, like tea towels, oven gloves and aprons.
I bought the gingerbread man set in Autumn/Winter last year and it just added that seasonal feel to my kitchen.

This whole set will cost you £13!
You get your apron which is too cute, three tea towels and your oven gloves.
If that doesn't scream BARGAIN at you, then I don't know what will.

I also found...
C'mon guys, I have a pug and I've told you all before just how obsessed with everything pug that I am.
So, I saw this and I had to get it! I think George will love it and it was only £8.

Moving on....

To a more Spring themed cushion!
How cute is this deer cushion? It just freshens up your sofa, or bed- wherever you put it, it's like a breath of fresh air!
It's £7 and absolutely worth the money- bargain! Again!

The next item which screams Spring theme for your home is...

This absolutely beautiful floral vase for just £6.
It will look beautiful with a bouquet of tulips or daffodils or even some pastil coloured carnations.
It's so cute and will look great anywhere in your home.
You could even use this vase as a candle holder, it will look beautiful whatever you use it for.

So, there are a couple of items you could add to your home to give it a fresh, Spring vibe.
Spring is my favourite season and I love finding new bits of homeware that represent all things Spring.

Thank you for viewing my blog guys,
Have an amazing Easter break!

Easter Baking | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hello everybody!

Happy easter! It's good Friday and I hope you're feeling good!

Today has been a beautiful sunny day, I've been out with George (my pug) on some lovely country walks.

Once we got home, I decided to do some easter inspired baking!

So, I thought I would bring you a slightly different post today!

So, if you'd like to join me with some easter Baking, here's what you'll need....

Preheat your oven to 150 degrees Celsius on a fan assisted oven, gas mark 2 or 300 degrees Fahrenheit

  • 100g margarine
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 100g self raising flour
  • 2 medium eggs
Mix the marg and sugar together, then crack the eggs into a separate bowl and beat well with a fork.

Gradually add the beaten eggs into the mixture bit by bit.

Now add in the flour, bit by bit.

Once your mixture is smooth, you can spoon one heaped teaspoon into the cake cases.

Pop into the oven for 12-15 minutes.

Take them out, leave to cool.

Once the cakes have cooled, you can decorate them!

I have chosen butter icing and mini eggs for my easter cupcakes, and for this you'll need...

  • 50g butter
  • 75g icing sugar
  • Piping bag
  • Piping nozel
Mix them well together until you have a smooth consistency.

Spoon the butter icing into the piping bag and begin to gently squeeze from the middle of each cake in a circle until you've covered the top of each cake.

Now pop the mini eggs on the top!

You now have beautiful easter cupcakes that look and taste amazing!

Have a great easter guys!

Exfoliating Faves March 2016 | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hello everybody!

I hope your week is going well, whatever you're up to.
Easter is just around the corner and I don't know about you, but I'm so excited!

I absolutely love Easter, maybe it's something to do with all the chocolate...

So, it's almost here- just one more "normal" day and then hello good Friday!

Woohoo!

On today's post I'd like to share some great exfoliating products which I've used and had amazing results.

You should exfoliate your skin at least once a week to keep your skin looking youthful and radiant.

It's really important to make sure you moisturise your skin after exfoliating!

So, my favourite exfoliating products are from The Body Shop!

I really like these products as they use natural ingredients and are handmade, which I think is a lovely concept.

The first product is the "Dead Sea Salt Scrub" for £20.
It is quite an expensive product for what it is, but it does what it says on the label!
So, you just rub the scrub into your skin in a circular motion and let those crystals get to work!

Then once your happy with the rubbing and scrubbing- rinse off and admire your refreshed feeling skin!
The second product is "Strawberry Body Polish" 75ml for £5.00!

That's a much better price!

Oh my goodness, I absolutely adore the smell of this product, it reminds me of strawberry flavoured shoelace sweeties, or just any strawberry sweeties!

It literally smells good enough to eat.

So you use this product in the same way as the above product and it leaves your skin feeling soft, perhaps not as refreshed but definitely soft.
My third product is the "Coconut Body Scrub" 100ml for only £5.00 and I believe this is one of The Body Shop's best sellers!

The scent of this product reminds me of holidays, which is always a great thing!

Again, you use this product in the same way as the above products and it will leave your skin feeling and looking beautiful.

This product feels very moisturising as well which is a lovely concept for an exfoliating product.

I highly recommend it and this is probably my go to exfoliating scrub.

So, there are my top three recommended exfoliating products.

I hope you guys are excited for Easter and have fun whatever you're up to!

I'd love to hear what your favourite exfoliating products are!

Don't forget to put those clocks forward everybody!

Primer Review | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hi everyone!

It's a beautiful Monday lunch time and I'm bringing you a new post!

I hope you're having a lovely day, wherever you are.

On today's blog I'd like to share some primers that I've tried and tested, which ones I recommend and my favourites.

So let's get started!
Of course bareMinerals prime time was going to be in my list!
I absolutely love this product, I've talked about it in previous posts.
It glides onto my face beautifully, sinks in quickly and keeps my makeup in place all day.
You can get this primer for around £20-£25.

No7 stay perfect is another good primer for £12.50 at Boots.
It's a mattifying primer, so great if you have oily or shiny skin.
The application is good, glides on nicely and sinks into the skin quickly.

Urban Decay Primer potion for eyes.
I haven't found a primer as good as this one to stop my eyeshadow from creasing.
This stuff is amazing!
You only need a small amount, apply to the eyelids, allow to dry and then apply your eyeshadow- it will last all day long.
You can purchase this product for £16-£20.

So, there we have it!
I highly recommend all of these products for you to try, they truly do their job and worth the money.

Have a fab day guys!

Hi guys!

The weekend is here hooray! And the sun is shining! I hope you all have a great day, I've been out doing grown up things like grocery shopping....

On today's blog I'm bringing you another make up look that I'm loving for spring.
This look is fresh and natural and, as always, easy to achieve.

The products I've used today are:
Estee lauder double wear foundation in dessert beige.
Clarins Blusher, bareMinerals warmth bronzer, Mac Goldmine eyeshadow, rimmel eye liner and rimmel Kate Moss 08 shade lipstick.
It took me about 10 minutes to apply.
I straightened my hair and added a cute pearl butterfly grip from Accessorize. A nice little touch for a spring themed look.

So, I hope you enjoyed this post, I'd love to hear your favourite makeup looks and products.
Have a great Saturday everybody!

Spring Nude Lipstick | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hey everyone!

I hope you're all having a great day!

The sun is shining and I've been loving wearing my sunglasses! I forgot how much I love wearing them!

So, on today's blog I would like to share with you how I do my spring Nude lips.

I think this look is a good look for spring- it's soft, natural and pretty.

It's incredibly easy to achieve and I'm using rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in number 08 and rimmel exaggerate colour lip liner.

I always start with the lip liner, just follow the natural outer lines of your lips.

Then just fill in your lips with the lipstick and you're good to go!

It's that simple! You now have beautiful natural nude lips!

Have a great day guys, if you're also experiencing amazing sunshine wherever you are- enjoy it!

Lots of love

Favourite Sensitive Skin Products | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hello everybody!

I hope you've all had a lovely Tuesday, what ever you've been up to.

So, I have recently found a couple of bits that I'd like to share with you.
They are for anybody to use, but more importantly, they can be used by people who have sensitive skin.

I don't tend to have sensitive skin as such, but sometimes due to weather changes, temperature changes or certain times of the month- my skin can become a little sensitive to some products.

As I was shopping over the weekend, I popped into Boots and found the following...
Simple Moisturising Bath Cream for £2.10

Simple are a great brand and are amazing for people who have sensitive skin.

They only use natural ingredients in their products- no nasty stuff in them.

I've been using this bath cream since I purchased it at the weekend- it's great!

I was a little unsure about the quality of bubbles I would get from this bath cream but there are so many bubbles in the bath and they last ages!

The fragrance isn't overpowering it's a nice calming aroma that is subtle and not too strong.

I also picked up...
Aveeno Moisturising Creamy Oil with Sweet Almond Oil on sale at boots for £5.10 was £7.65!

Oh my goodness I just love all Aveeno products, I've blogged about them before and I'm doing it again!

They're so nourishing and kind to the skin, it leaves my skin feeling so good.

I love the fragrance in this one, it's a natural sweet scent of almonds!

When you apply this lotion you'll notice how quickly it absorbs into your skin, and I noticed after the first day of using it how much softer my skin felt.

So go try these products guys! I highly recommend them, whether you have sensitive skin or normal skin they'll work for you!

Have a great evening everyone!

Love Ree

Clinique Samples Review | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hey guys!

I hope you're all having a great day! What did you guys get up to this weekend? I've been shopping around and doing DIY! The weekend came around and went so quick- where does the time go?

Over the weekend I passed a Clinique stall in Boots and the very lovely Sarah offered me a free sample of the new foundation and moisturiser.

+Clinique UK Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer £25 in the shade 04 Cream Whip.
+Clinique UK Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel £18 - £30
So, I went ahead and cleansed my face with my usual Garnier Micellar Water and a cotton wool pad.

I then used the Clinique moisturiser all over my face, just a small amount goes a long way and a thin layer- it sinks in almost instantly.

I then used my Bare Minerals Prime Time to prime my face.

Next I applied the Clinique foundation.

So- this is definitely in my top favourite foundations!

It applied beautifully- I buff it in with my make up brush and the finish is semi matte with a slight dewy texture which is ideal for me.

I would recommend you apply a translucent powder over the top of this foundation, I did notice it does begin to melt away in the T zone as the day goes on and yes, this happened to me as I didn't apply my powder.

Lesson learned.

Unlike the Estee Lauder Doublewear which doesn't budge but can be a little drying at times as it is so matte.

I do think these proudcts are worth the money you pay as you only need a small amount to apply each time which allows them to last ages.

So, make sure you pop down to your local Clinique store today and get your free samples ladies!
These products are amazing and the samples will last you for a week trial.

Have a great evening guys!

The colours are highly pigmented and the quality is good- it's lasted all day!

Bath Time Essentials | ReeTheBeautyBee

Hi everyone!

It's Friday! Yay! The weekend is here and I hope you've all had a lovely day so far!

On today's blog I thought I would tell you all about my bath time essentials that are sure to give you a wonderful and relaxing bath time experience!

So, you start running your bath and if you're like me you'll start setting up the perfect scene with candles, your fave drink and maybe the iPad or laptop sitting somewhere in view from the bath so you can watch your favourite programmes whilst chilling in the bath.

Once your bath is nice and full pop in a +LUSH lush bath bomb! Lush bath bombs are the best bath bombs I've ever experienced and there are literally hundreds to choose from. My favourite is called "The Experimenter"
When you pop this bad boy into your bath you'll be amazed by the explosion of colours that come from it, and it smells amazing too.
My skin always feels so soft when I get out of the bath.

I've also been loving the soaps from +LUSH  Lush, they are handmade and smell great! My favourite is Apandapand and looks like a giant fruit, which is really cute.
Lush soaps last absolutely ages, you only need to use a very small amount as they lather up easily and effectively with minimum effort.
Sometimes I like to pop on a face mask while I'm relaxing in the bath, I've been reaching for the +The Body Shop UK Body Shop Vitamin E sink in moisture mask.
Apply generously all over your face, lay back and relax, no need to rinse off as it sinks in beautifully. Sometimes I pop this on before bed and wake up with beautifully moisturised skin, looking healthy and radiant.

So, I hope you try some of these amazing products- the companies are against animal cruelty which is important to me.
I hope you've enjoyed this blog and have a fab Friday!

Lots of love
